Hi there,
In my experience, the first steps when engaging with new golf students, should always be:
Understanding their goals and aspirations
Evaluating their current abilities
Creating a Game Plan to achieve their goals
Let me show you how you can do this remotely, using Golf Coach App and Golf Stats Coach.
Understand their Goals and Aspirations
On your students’ home screen inside Golf Coach App, there is a section entitled, Plan your Week. When your student clicks on the link and fills in the form, you, their Coach will receive a link with their information. This will give you great insights as to what their Goals and Aspirations are.
Evaluate their current abilities
Swing Technique
Ask your students to send you videos of their swing, putting and chipping. Golf Coach App was created to receive great quality videos from your students, complete with information about their shots.
On course performance
Ask your students to enter a few rounds into the Golf Stats Coach app. You’ll automatically receive a link and can view their Stroke Gained Stats vs. multiple benchmarks. This will give you an unbelievably clear picture of their on course play.
Create a Game Plan
Armed with this information, you’ll be able to have a great understanding of your student’s goals, aspirations and current skills. All of this happens remotely and will enable you to create Game Plans for your students that will help them achieve their goals.
Give this a try, it really does work well, for both Students and Coaches.
Till next time,
Martin
