Remote Game Evaluations to grow your Golf Coaching business

In my experience, the first steps when engaging with new golf students, should always be:

  1. Understanding their goals and aspirations

  2. Evaluating their current abilities

  3. Creating a Game Plan to achieve their goals

Create rich Golf Lesson Reviews for your students

Hi there,

Have you ever sent a student a Lesson Review and wished you an extra explanation to help them fix their problem?

Templates can help you

Let’s take the common scenario of the slicing golfer.

In addition to your Lesson or Swing Review you sent them, you might also want to explain the root cause to them.

They might strike it on the heel of their driver and need to understand Gear Effect.

Or they might just need to understand the path/face relationship better.

… or it might be an issue with their grip.

Inside Templates in Golf Coach App, you’ll find graphics and videos that you can use to explain these concepts to your students easily.

Create a video of these images, add your own face to the video and make it personal to your student.

YOUR STUDENTS WILL LOVE THIS!

Golf Coaching vs Golf Teaching

Hi there,

A lot of what is offered as Online Coaching is actually just Online Teaching.

Let me show you the difference between the two and why it matters.

Teaching is when you distribute information to your students, like videos, books or any other content that teaches them techniques, swing theories, strategies etc.

It’s information without connecting that information to a specific problem.

What is Coaching then?

Golf Coaching works a lot like your GPS navigation app. The first thing the app does when you switch it on, is to figure out where you currently find yourself.

Only when it knows your current location can it give you directions to your destination.

It’s the same for your students’ golf games.

You have to understand where they currently find themselves and what the root cause of their problem is, before you can start taking action, fixing the problem and giving them directions.

This is why watching random videos about golf instruction is so ineffective in helping golfers play better golf.

Without analysis of the problem, how can a golfer know whether the remedy they are watching and then implementing, applies to them?

This is why we created Golf Coach App the way we did, since it enables Coaching as well as Teaching.

It's the most efficient way for students to learn and improve their games.

  1. Students fill in their goals, giving you a sense of where they want to take their game

  2. Data from their on course play sync through to their Coach via Golf Stats Coach

  3. High quality videos with shot information give you an ability to give them great feedback

So keep in mind, your students are interested in going to their destination, help them get there through a combination of Coaching and Teaching.
